For a girl barely in her teens, JoJo has accomplished quite a bit. Her singing talent brought her early success on TV shows like Kids Say the Darndest Things, The Oprah Winfrey Show and The Rosie O'Donnell Show. Although she didn't win the America's Most Talented Kids competition, the experience gave her contacts that eventually led to a multi-album recording contract. This, in turn, led to a debut release, JoJo, which climbed the charts and spawned record-breaking singles like "Leave (Get Out)" and "Baby It's You."
However, JoJo's fame is still nascent. JoJo may be well-known in tween and teen circles, but she still has far to go before she'll be considered the next Britney. Only time will tell if she has staying power, and isn't just another flash in the teenybopper pan. She said, " I'm not Britney mark two. It's unfair that people compare us. I guess we are both young artists but we're totally different".
